I’m Valeria Jalenco, and from a little girl exhausted by illness, who went through clinical death in 2016, I transitioned into a woman with high self-esteem, who looks in the mirror and exclaims, “I deserve relaxation!”

My journey wasn’t easy, but it taught me that in order to be truly happy and fulfilled, you must give yourself permission to relax, live in the present, and love yourself. Now, I want to hear your story.

What will you find in this guide?

In 2016, while undergoing surgery for scoliosis, I had an experience that profoundly changed my life. I was in clinical death, and in that moment, I understood, in a painful and clear way, how uncontrollable life really is. I realized that we often get caught up in thoughts about the future, about how to change what we can't influence, forgetting that true power lies in what we think and live in the present. It’s easy to get lost in the desire to control every aspect of life, but what I learned then was that relaxation and acceptance are the key to truly living.

"A Guidebook for Chill Lovers" is my personal guide, created from the desire to share the lessons I learned during those difficult moments. It's not just about learning relaxation techniques, but about a profound shift in perspective. Our thoughts, more than our actions, shape the present we live in. The future cannot be controlled, but the present can be influenced by how we choose to relate to it.

I created this guide to help you understand that you don’t need to make massive efforts to "become better" or "more efficient," but rather to allow yourself to be present, to enjoy every moment, and to accept what you cannot change. Relaxation is an act of release, not an impossible goal to reach. It is a continuous process where we learn to live with less pressure, more calm, and greater awareness.

In this guide, you will discover simple and accessible relaxation and mindfulness techniques that don’t require large sacrifices of time or energy but can deeply transform how you feel and how you approach each day. I invite you to align your thoughts with the present and open your heart to inner peace. This is not just a guide for a calmer life but also a journey to a deeper awareness of your true self.
